In cooperation with the Africa Knowledge Center of Hungary and the Hungary Helps Program, a meeting of Hungarian humanitarian organizations in Africa was held on 25 August 2021 in the Delegation Hall of the Parliament of Hungary.
Representatives of the African Knowledge Center, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Hungary Helps Agency and twenty-one NGOs were present at the event. The event was welcomed by Hon. István Jakab, Vice President of the Parliament of Hungary, President of the Africa Knowledge Center, Hon. Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program, Mr. Péter Kovács-Pifka, Director General of the Hungary Helps Agency, Prof. Dr. Csaba Gyuricza, Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Ms. Krisztina Kármán, Director of the Hungary Helps Volunteer Program. The Masters of Ceremonies were Mr. László Bihari Vice President and Dr. Szabolcs Pásztor Vice President. The main organizer of the event was Mr. Tamás Ary Vice President.
Representatives from the following 21 NGOs presented their organization and their projects in Africa supported by the Hungary Helps Program.

The event, which included greetings, briefings, presentations by 21 organizations in five blocks, and question-and-answer blocks and closing remarks, ended with a reception and a Parliament tour.
